NX 1934 Series Release Notes - Date: August 2020 1934 Enhancements
- Automation Designer: Support for EPLAN Version 2.9 You can import macros from the EPLAN application to generate electrical schematics of the production equipment or devices that are used in your production system or machines.
- CAE: Universal Spot Weld Connections for LS-DYNA This release adds the ability to realize (mesh) universal spot weld connections in the LS-DYNA solver environment through the combination of an ELEMENT_SOLID(8) to represent the connection with a CONTACT_SPOTWELD card to model the interaction between the connected components and spot weld element.
- Simcenter 3D: Auto BIW Meshing for Crash, Phase II This project is a continuation of “Auto BIW Meshing for Crash” project that was completed for version 1926 of Simcenter 3D. The current project aims in further improving the meshes on automotive panels to meet the requirements of Crash analyses
- Simcenter 3D: Penetration Check Tool The Penetration Check tool help find and remove initial penetrations and intersections between elements (meshes) and contact definitions. Penetrations occur when there is an overlap in the thickness of shell elements. Intersections occur when elements cross one other.
