使用powermill2017的刀轴投影到平面功能四轴精加工螺旋槽


在大多数情况下,刀轴指向选用“朝向直线”(模型的中心线),就能实现四轴精加工。
在特殊情况下,如果需要四轴精加工,但是刀轴指向不能选用“朝向直线”(模型的中心线),这时就必须在“刀轴限界”对话框里选择“投影到平面”,就能实现四轴精加工。
这个功能与UGNX的“4轴相对于部件”的刀轴指向功能完全相同。
但是平时这个功能应用得非常少,所以目前在国内暂时没有相应的机床选项文件,所以不能生成NC程序,如有需要可以与Autodesk公司联系。

以上是使用一把球头刀和“曲面精加工”加工策略四轴精加工螺旋槽的侧面。
也可以使用一把平底刀和“SWARF精加工(侧刃铣)”加工策略四轴精加工螺旋槽的侧面。
如果没有使用powermill的“刀轴投影到平面”功能,只能够使用一把平底刀和“SWARF精加工(侧刃铣)”加工策略五轴精加工螺旋槽的侧面。
但是如果使用powermill的“刀轴投影到平面”功能,就能够使用一把平底刀和“SWARF精加工(侧刃铣)”加工策略四轴精加工螺旋槽的侧面。
